Whine
I'm so sick of this weather here on the Wet Coast. It hasn't snowed since the early hours of Saturday morning, although there is still some on the ground. Today it is windy and rainy. Despite having three major windstorms last week, there is another one forecast for Wednesday. And it's not even officially winter yet. I've been on vacation since the end of November. Because Joe has a new job (which we're very thankful for) we haven't been able to go anywhere. And even though I've been sleeping in, I'm tired. I blame it on the weather. I'm convinced I suffer from SAD. Spring can't come soon enough, yawn!
Whine over, but I do feel better. Thanks for listening.

Turn the negative into a positive... Rainy, snowy, stormy days are good for reading, knitting, and catching up on movies Joe would never watch. Too much sleep can make you feel more tired, start your day early by having breakfast with Joe. Meet Joe for lunch or supper. SAD, open all your curtains, raise the blinds, let the daylight in. You can buy full spectrum light bulbs get them for the lamp next to the chair where you sit the most. If you are outside for at least a half an hour a day it helps. Borrow a dog go for a walk. Bake buscuits. :-) Do a mini spa day either at home or treat yourself.
As for an early spring, well you are more likely to see spring before we will on this side of the country. Our spring weather comes in late May. I find a flowering plant in the house makes me feel better. African violets or cyclamen are a good choice.
Don't let Santa see you frowning.
